Not Getting Paid?
Any thoughts on where there's a forum or discussion about companies not paying their bills or honoring the contracts? Seems to me these times are exposing a lot of debt that will not be repaid...and us contractors are the one's taking it in the.....
Know of any listings (by state) or sites that organize complaints about contracts not fullfilled? I can't believe how many jobs have gone bad this year. |

Re: Not Getting Paid?
Yes this can be a problem but there are ways to be paid. Inforce your interest on unpaid invoices every month. Get alittle more forceful in getting paid.
File liens or notice to owners if not getting paid. Try to settle some of the debt yourself with your client if possible even if you have to discount the invoice. If it is past 120 days turn it over for collections to a agency. And of course stop doing work for slow payers |
