Well, if you're gonna be all scientific about it, just hang up the bids and see which one you can hit with a dart -

How 'bout this? - Do your research on the 4 contractors and choose the one that best fits your project and budget. Check their references, past work, etc... maybe it will be the most expensive, maybe someone in the middle...probably not the low bidder. Unless he's close to the other prices, the low bidder most likely won't be around in 6 months.
