New Website - Trim Work

I was driving to work this morning when I saw this little van with a few ladders and magnetics signs advertising the business. I thought I'd pass it along.

I checked out the website and thought it was pretty interesting.

Re: New Website - Trim Work

I read their "process" text. Interesting. Not sure what to think. Looks like a start up of some kind.

Sad thing is, if they listed Mass, I'd be tempted to send them an e-mail wondering if they'd consider a sub. Three days into Septmeber, and I need to seriously beat the bushes for the winter.

Do you use subcontractors?
No, our carpenters and painters are full time workers and work strictly for Home Trimwork ™.

Uh oh, looks like they are competition only. Not a contact.....

I have to admit their credibility took a dive with me when I saw they worked on an Extreme Makeover house.

Re: New Website - Trim Work

Good question. I imagine he would find out just what the extent of their work on one of those houses really was...... and if they may have done better quality work than most of the contractors working on them... before arbitrarily deciding they might be hacks.

Maybe I should to.

Thanks. I needed that. For some reason, I've been kind of negative all day today.

I took a good look at the website.

I'm going to guess here, but I would say they have one heck of a good business. When you go to the home page it's very simple and to the point and it's clear what they do. The photograph is descriptive and exciting if your a home owner.

I would say that company creates great word of mouth.

Secondly, he pushes the words "enhance" and "transform" in a way that makes an average HO think they can have an average income but still have wealthy details in their homes.

That's a very smart way to market yourself instead of the standard "we do it all and here is some pictures please call us" routine.

This company has an advertising presence in my area - though I have never seen one of their trucks, or a yard sign, etc.

Mostly they have displays at all of the local malls - sometimes more than one in a mall, and heavily advertising in local coupon type print marketing.

To their credit they are registered with the state, and have pretty decent reviews online.

I think that's a great distinction!
