Need Your Professional Advice (Cabinets)
My name is James Kershaw and I am an Industrial Design student at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
For my most recent project we were given the task to design a Cabinet installation system to help those professionals, like yourself as well as the average DIY homeowner in installing cabinets. This project is 100% conceptual and I would like to ask if you or any of your employees would mind filling out the following survey to help me with my research and development. I look forward to your response. __________________________________________________ ______ What do you normally use for leveling and lifting a cabinet for install? Do you use a home made jig?
If so what are your likes and dislikes about your jig? What do you feel would improve your jig? Do you feel a lifting and leveling system for cabinet installation is necessary?
Would you purchase a lifting and leveling system to help aid cabinet installation?
Would you prefer a free standing installation system or a wall mounted?
What do you feel would be a necessary feature for a cabinet installation tool? Do you feel a leveling system would be necessary?
What price range do you think would be reasonable for this tool?
