Need Help With Name

I need help with a company name. I am in the process of switching. My company name, it was Double Action Construction, now i want to change it to somthing whith my name. I originaly wanted Swanson Construction, but it was already taken in michigan. So i want the name to have Swanson in it. I am in the remodeling buisness, but in a few years i hope to be building homes. Anyone have any ideas?

If you really feel you have to have your name in it for some reason, why don't you simply use:

Eric Swanson Construction, LLC.
or
Eric Swanson Construction, Inc.

...biz with your last name will make for a difficult/unique sale. I mean, who wants to buy Heinz, WAL-Mart, Kraft, etc.......you can see my hypocracy, but for a small biz I think it's no good. Assuming you want/plan to sell some day. The value will always be associated with your name.

Swanson,,,,, It's not just for dinner anymore.

"S" will get you set toward the back of the rolodex. If you are stuck on having your name involved, you may want to have your first name, "E", heading it off. People are about convinience these days and most won't make it past the first 6 names in the rolo. before they have enough quotes to decide from. If you are allready established, and have a sizable clientelle that you feel will keep your wheels spinning, than forget what I said.
