Need Help With Construction Window Cleaning

Can someone out there please tell me what is exactly involved in window cleaning for post construction.
How many time you have to clean the windows?
When do you charge extra for windows?
I have just started a commercial cleaning company and it seems that every company is different. I need some help with the usual and then I can go from there.
This company I am working for is having me clean the construction mud off the inside window frames first. Then when the painters go back and seal and paint them, then they have me come back again to to a clean off the silicone and paint all over. It seems like I am doing windows the whole time and don't know wheather to charge extra for this or not. The person that puts the mud on the window frames seems to me that they are suppose to clean them off. It looks like they took a damp rag and just ran over the frames once while they were still wet. This is the time to do it, not when it's dry. Some of the windows are 15 feet in the air and we have to climb on ladders and do them twice befor we are done. Not to mention we still have to clean the house, rough and final. Is this usually one price for all?
Someone please help me as to what is usual or what I have to charge extra for.
Thank you

Just a matter of 1 trade having respect for another. The more you charge (and they get backcharged) the more respect you get. WHen you work for nothing you get no respect and everyone craps on you.

I make it clear to all subs on my projects that any mess they leave, any damage they do, or any diffiuculty they create for me and/or other trades involved will result in a back-charge. I learned the hard way on this one. My opinion is that if you ltet the subs set the standards for what they should and should not be responsible for, a lot of them (not all) will take advantage and leave you with ten bags of sh*t to hold.

You are getting a raw deal. I have hired post construction cleaning crews in the past.

Post= After

You should be called in for the final clean. It sounds like your contractor is taking advantage of you.

Price your services as a one time final clean. If they want to pay you to come in during construction and clean behind each trade great you need to charge separate for that.

You are no different than any other company on site. Ask the painter how many times he paints one wall.

Good luck with your new venture.
