Need A Good Packet Of Forms...where?
Hello all.
First off...I did search the forums but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. My apologies if I missed a previous thread. I am starting a new custom home construction company in Florida. Unfortunately, my partners do not have access to the forms that they used at their previous company. So, I have been looking to buy a software program that gives me the templates to the forms that we will need (don’t need contracts as we are using the AIA contracts). I am looking for all the little forms that are needed, such as change orders, partial waivers of liens, etc. From what I have read, the ones from the NAHB and Savage / Jones-Mitchell are waaaaaaay to simplistic and unreliable. I have trolled Google and Yahoo and the one's that allow me to see a sample look very vanilla and unprofessional (not to mention my lack of faith on their legal protectiveness). Anyways....does anyone here know of a software program that has lots of start-up forms that are well written and worth the money? I know of the "give a form, take a form'" post, but would rather have all my forms somewhat consistent. ANY help in helping me wade through the glut of software programs out there would be very appreciated. As always, thanks in advance. Jason |

Re: Need A Good Packet Of Forms...where?
Send it all, I have read some bad reviews about builderbooks forms. (I think from users on amazon).
Steve, that would be very appreciative. I dont know how to send you a personal message...but...in the effort to protect against spam...you can email me using my screen name 'at' aol. That account already gets 1000 spam messages so I don't care if some spam spider picks up on it. In the meantime, I am still looking to find good forms through a software. Hate to get an attorney involved to pay up the wazoo for boilerplate forms. Thanks Jason |
