Re: My Heat Is Out

It is probably as simple as a a bad solder joint to one of the components. I had my furnace go out just as I was about to go out for my anniversary. It took an hour to figure out what was wrong and 3 minutes to fix it. Take a look, couldn't hurt.

Re: My Heat Is Out

My heat sub came over we ran through everything. He called another heat sub and he told him the model we had was notorious for the bad board. He gave him some more trouble shooting tips and nothing worked. SO we are assuming its the board. He is going to come back monday morning and try some other stuff and if nothing works. The new board goes in monday afternoon.

Be glad you don't live where it is cold. Like Minnesota. Where you need heat, NOW. Come back in a day or two, BS.

Re: My Heat Is Out

In my old home I had the boiler switched out for a new one, we had 2 babies at home and I got the best setup I could. The thing went out on New Years day 1 year and 1 day after the install. The guy who came out told me the electronic controls were notorious for doing that. Bill came to $450. The heating contractor said the warranty was good for 1 year, so s**t out of luck. Never hired him again and he lost out on at least 60 furnace jobs from me. Cost $450 to me, Cost to him-Priceless. I'm in Minnesota
