Re: Is It Me Or Is This Site Dead In The Water?
Actually traffic us up and so are posts. I'm not sure what your talking about.
We have a typical cycle. Guys get busy in the spring and summer months and things slack off a bit but then they pick back up in the fall and peak in the winter (Jan/Feb/March). Over the past month traffic and posts have actually been growing which is typical for the fall. This is actually one of the busiest sites in the industry.

Traffic up? -Everyone's sitting at home wondering what's next. I'm not here to knock this site. It just needs jazzed up a bit. I'm never ashamed of my posts and if I get banned -so be it.

Jazzed up in what way? My favorite site. Always room for improvements in every aspect of life, but the old saying is true that if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Well give us some ideas of what you would like to see. You would be hard pressed to find a better site on the internet for the contracting trade.

Re: Is It Me Or Is This Site Dead In The Water?
BTW, I'm not sitting on my hands here. We have a lot of improvements on the way. Expect to see some major improvements in February or March. But that being said the idea that the site is "Dead" is totally wrong.
Every month we get about 330,000 visitors to this site and 20,000+ posts. I don't see how that's a dead site? I am always open to new ideas though if you have them.

Re: Is It Me Or Is This Site Dead In The Water?
Just kidding-Had you goin' there didn't I? I feel like I walk away from the site for a week and things improve dramatically! I read too much into what others are expieriencing with their work. It bums me out and depresses me.--You did fall for the "BORN AGAIN" didn't ya?

Re: Is It Me Or Is This Site Dead In The Water?
If there is a point here let's get to it. Traffic is up... not sure what to tell you about that.
If you have any suggestions for the site I'm all ears. Otherwise this sounds like a great discussion for the off topic area.
