It looks like you're a new member so, welcome to the site.
I am a new member, thanks for the welcome, I ran across this site on google, and I am so glad I found it!

Yes, I love my dustless vac, I have used shop vacs many times in the past and they are nothing compared to these vacs. I had another contrator friend that recommended the Dustless Brand vac to me and I am so glad he did!

The bad thing with the shop vacs is you cant easily go from dry to wet without ruining the filter or having to change, etc, whereas with the dustless you can go straight from dry to wet with no problems. We always have jobs where someone accidentally vacuums up a small area of water or if someone spills their drink, etc even on concrete, anyway it is really a good vacuum. I also like the fact that it fits my dewalt & bosch hand tools while working with concrete, etc. Here is their site for those interested: www.dustlesstechnologies.com

Re: Made In USA Product List

I've finished the majority of the list. There's still a couple odds and ends I have to add and I'll add more as I find them. I also have to do a final scan to make sure I didn't miss any that others have posted. Some of the ones that were posted, I was unable to find anything on their web site stating they have any US made products. I'll try contacting those manufactures and see what they say on the subject when I have time.

Thank you to those that have posted and for those that are checking out the list.

Maybe we will wake up and start building homes like that since we buy everything from ever where else in the world. And Bring back american pride and craftsmanship that this country was built on.

Thanks for the link. I think we'll be building "American" again, it'll just take time. If only Washington, D.C. was "American"....

Just a little plug for Eric and Nelson from Noble Company but their stuff is made in the USA and Kerdi is made in Germany.

I wonder how many more jobs would be created by Noble Company if more people used their products?

One of these days I'd like to tile my concrete back porch. What would be Nobles equivalent to Schluters Ditra? Thanks

Re: Made In USA Product List

thats nice and all, but the majority of a home is already supplied with made in america products.
we need to cut down on buying stuff that people buy everyday, that comes from asia.

Re: Made In USA Product List

Sorry Noble does not make an equivalent to Ditra - the Noble line is a far superior product in just about every way

Unless you want cheap

Nobel Deck is an exterior waterproofing membrane suitable for use under tile. It's like Kerdi but 5 times thicker. Noble Deck is 40 mil and Kerdi 8 mil

Nobel deck is also a crack isolation membrane - Ditra is not

this has been posted elsewhere on here, but is worth the reminder. perhaps we could combine all this stuff and make it a sticky? there are a variety of reasons to buy locally and for americans to buy american.

The Husky plastic sheeting I used today was made in the great old united states of America. Also the sherwin Williams paint I used was made here also.. makes me happy to uses things that say made in usa...

The 6" roller cover and brushes weren't though... Made in China.. damnit...

By the way use titebond glues. There made in U.S.A.

Re: Made In USA Product List

I went to the local Bob's Store (clothing, workwear and shoes) to buy some new work boots.
These are some of the boots they carry:
Carolina
Cat
Chippewa
Timberland
Timberland Pro
Wolverine
Magnum
Red Wing

The only boot in the store made in the USA is the Chippewa $249.00
All others are around $89-$169...All made in China
I still bought the Chippewa's....http://www.chippewaboots.com/boots/utility/29416

BTW they are giving away a set of boots here..https://www.chippewaboots.com/contest

I just bought two pairs for myself. There alittle pricey but the quality is great and its made in the us...

And about the boots.. I couldn't find a boot made in the us that I liked. I sucked it up and got the new timberland pro helix. Good boots but there not made in the us...
