Los Angeles Area Building Business
I've been a licensed general for about ten years now, and I am just finishing up a large new construction residential project in Venice. Custom home throughout, we're into our 15th month and almost finished. This is the first time in ten years that I have not had another job to go to right on the heels of another. I'm usually starting the new one before the current one is finished. I have had two deals lined up that have been put on hold, either due to financing woes or people just deciding to wait.
At this rate, I'll be selling apples on the corner before you know it. Or maybe Adirondack chairs made from discarded pallets as I did back in leaner days. Any other SoCal contractors out there? Any advice on where to drum up business? -Bodger |
