Looking For A Product....please Help

I honestly do not know where to start looking...what we are looking for is a product that will allow us to take a digital image of something, then mark up the screen, save the picture with the markings, then email them...

an example would be to take a picture of a machine with a problem, then in John Madden like fashion, draw an arrow to the problem area, indicate the problem right on the pic, and email the marked up picture to a contractor...

this device ideally is wireless, but if we need to download to a computer, that would work as well...

umm..no

it's a camera with a larger screen that allows you to mark it up right then and there and save it....very KISS...no need to import it into another program...

perfect for marking up your text message photos...

You can do this on an iPhone using a variety of applications. For example...iDoodle is one application that will allow you to draw on the photos and then email them.

It's expensive but the only thing I can think of would be Adobe Acrobat. You would have to convert the digital file to pdf format then you can draw on it, type on it etc..

iPhone or Palm Pilot, iPhone would be best, and they're cheap now.

yeah, we use verizon...iphone not happening...plus they touchscreen phones get broken way too much...

but the sketches or doodle type program, on just a digital camera w/ email capabilities is what i am looking for...

I Googled; Cameras with Writable Screens and this was the first result.

Other than that, which I am sure is expensive, you can do the MS Paint or the Open Source "GIMP" to do drawings on your computer screen after you download them.

I have a Palm Zire (don't know if they still make them), it takes pictures, you can draw on them with software, but you still need a PC to email them, it has blue tooth to transfer.

I think Ed has it, MS Paint or Gimp, then use PC to email.


One last thought, if you have a laptop and a USB camera you could do it all from there.

adobe PDF Pro and a tablet pc, some come with camera built in or you can add them on. The add on ones are better
