Looking For A Niche?

I just shut down my partnership with my brother. Boy was that a bad idea. I'm tired of the stress of being a GC. Looking to specialize in an area that's less stress and higher profits, if thats posible. I've done everything but plumbing and electric. I'd like to focuss on demolition but in philadelphia it's hard due to the union. Looking for any advice on what to get into.

The way licensing seems to be headed in Philly, I'd move an hour or so West to some other large city like maybe Reading, Allentown, or Scranton and start over. I gotta tell you, brother, Reading is booming right now and it puts me in mind of a small version of Philly.

I see allot of handy man companies are doing well. Philadelphia is full of white collar works who don't want to get their hand dirty. The unions wont bother you. If you can organize some workers you could do well.
