Log Home Builders?
Any log home builders? I just came back from the mountains in NC and log homes seem to be the happening thing out there. I was wondering who uses what kits and the +/- of different companies.

I've built log homes but never from a kit, it was always the hard way with scribers and chain saws.

My wife grew up in a "real" log cabin. Her uncle built it out of cedars that he cut right from the lot. Unfortunately, he had no building experience and it looked it too.
