Shouldn't a bridge like this have a weight limit sign posted at the foot of the bridge? And didn't the driver know the weight of the load he was carrying? In the modern day this shouldn't happen.

The sign was probably in the way so the guys that make min wage go infront of the truck removing all this stuff.
