Laminate Countertops

hey everybody! Trim guy from ohio here and i just had a question about making and installing formica countertops. its been a while since i've done any. Actually the last time being my own home so i was just curious as to what is the going rate to make and install. Nothing too fancy. I like to use the same wood as the cabinets (natural cherry in my case) and face the edge of the countertops with it along with the top of the splashes. then after gluing the formica i router the edge to expose the wood and finish it to match the cabinets.
