Know Where To Get This?

I was at the car wash Sunday and an employee saw my lettering on the truck and asked if we did awnings. I said who do I speak with. He said call the GM Tuesday. They have a handy man that might install one at the beginning of their wash tunnel but are excepting other bids. First off where do you even buy something like this? I see em on every fast food chain store around here.

threaded rod and turn buckles. but you'll have to find a fabricator to cut and weld all the brackets i assume.

No, I got a pricing at $35 a sq ft for materials. And add a day or two labor and make a 3 minute phone call with a quote. I don't bid. That word was used by the car wash "helper" guy. I estimate and tell them how and what advantage they have with going with me. Sometimes I'm more expensive and still get the job. Others, are to hope that the hack hears my more expensive quote from the owner so he'll figure out how to price things next time. Thus driving the market up one estimate at a time. #wishfulthinking
