Knee Wall Insulation ?
I posted this ? in the HVAC area but didn't get any suggestions. So I thought I would try here seeing as I am doing this today. Thanks
I have a cape cod with the infamous knee walls. This house ate me alive last winter in heat. My ? is. If I insulate the roof side with R-38 w/ craft paper, can I sandwich it with 1" ridgid foam? Will the craft paper create moisture between the ridgid foam board? I do have a ridge vent and holes in the soffit. I also added the ventilation baffles in between the rafters, wich I will seal at the soffit end of the bays(does that make sense). TIA - Brian |

Re: Knee Wall Insulation ?
Go for it, sounds good to me, as long as you make sure you have uninterupted ventilation from soffit to ridge.
