i realize that pella and anderson are more expensive windows but is the labor more expensive than a good vinyl replacement?
is 200 bucks a window for labor only a good price;what is the going rate and also 900 for the bay?

Re: Kingfisher

Yes the labour to install a better window should be the better installers. Also the higher end windows are expected to open and close better than the cheap stuff but that means you relly need to take your time and do it perfect. I have installed 2 bay windows with a helper each time, 1 went in in 2 hours and the other took 5 hours and was a giant cluster. The floor was off the walls were off and I hed to attach eveything then check change just a huge mess. Both of these were high end wood windows, 1 was a pella, $900 is a little high but that is everything right? and these are on the first floor or realy close not 5' off the grade?

Re: Kingfisher

so a pella replacement is about 250 per window including capping? lets say a 33x54 window? whereas a regular vinyl replacement is about 200?
a bay window to remove and install should be closer to 800 then?
thansk buddy. a appreciate it
