Keepin It The Family

Looking to sub out a deck build on this job. The only applicant fit the bill, is illegally in the country and his crew are all related. Would anyone hire them?

Like I just said in the Big Box Store Thread

You pay sh*t and you WILL GET Sh*t

What are you going to do if there are any problems??? They can take your money, mess your job up, fall off ladders and sue the HO

and you won't be able to do a damn thing about it - because they're illegally here and you hired them ... and you sure as heck do not want that to be known to anyone. So if ANYTHING happens - you're stuck Bubba

again, maybe I am speaking to the wrong audience ....

I only hire illegals, thatsnot the problem I'm having. I just don't like the idea of them all being related.

What do you mean you only hire illegals? On a different post you said that you are in the Bahamas ( I think ). Are you being a fart smeller and only hire illegals because of where you are? Please say that you are screwing around.

illegals are illegal, thats why they are called illegals. Do you smoke crack, murder people, do vandalism? No because its wrong and illegal, so why is hireing a illegal even a question?

Thats right this job is on Grand Isle, Bahama and I'm not talking about wetbacks from the states. The illegals here are Haitians and they work cheap and only will accet US currency. This crew is a family and they work hard, they have the best tools (all stollen in the U.S. and shipped over here). I'd build this deck myself but don't have time because the fishing is too good right now---hell, any cheek slapper with a circular saw and screw gun could build a 12x48 Trex deck.

I'm green with envy. There are better places to fish but not many that equal the diving there. The Exumas are where we locals went on vacation.
