Just Glad To Be Home

We've been doing a job for the last 3 months 1 1/2 hrs from home. I'm driving a full size van and hauling a 12' trailer. People pass me like lunatics. Well, today we came up on a fatal crash where someone went through a red light. Not a pretty site to say the least. I will continue to drive in a responsible, defensive manner and let the lunatics go by. It just hit home that there is someones' mother or father that's not coming home today. Sad really, and I'm just glad to get home each day, even if it takes an extra 15 minutes. Hope you all drive safe.

Re: Just Glad To Be Home

I was in Canada last week and EVERYONE passed me like I was standing still. I was the ONLY one obeying the speed limit signs.
