International Travel & Contract Work
I've just returned from a contract job in Iceland , three months out and loved every minute of it . I've been back and forth for the past year , just back now in up state ny and things are dead here...and the bottom is falling out of he economy there, just wondering if any one else out there has been doing any traveling ? I never hear much about it on this forum I would like to hear a some tales of travelers.
I know theres lots of work in western Canada any one familiar with us citizens working there ... or projects going on any where else in the world ... Dan

Re: International Travel & Contract WorkQuote:
Hey Dan, I am from Manitoba, and there is alot of work here. I have also noticed a few American carpenters making their way around for work. In fact I had a guy from Ohio doing sub work for me. If you are a real adventurer you can obtain a temporary work permit and go do some contract work up in northern manitoba. Very beautiful, but very desolate as well. There is so much work in the cities and towns that no one has any interest in going up there. Cory |
