Insurance Question

I have a general liability question, but first let me explain the situation. For 15 years I worked for my father in law in a painting/coating company. Well in Jan I aquired the same company, but made it an llC. Same company name but LLC adnd new ins, tax id everything. Now a coatings job that was done 2 years ago has a problem, a costly one also. The GC contacts me about the problem and is unaware of the changes.

Can I file a claim against the old insurance? If so how does it work? actual cost?

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Insurance Question

the policy you(the company) had when the work was done is responcible to pay for claims durring that period, call them.

Too many factors, I would suggest you contact a local attorney for a one hour consultation.
