That is a little over $25/sq for rip off and the same to put them back on. Thant is too funny, provide references and proof of insurance.

I'd provide references for them to call. But they would be friends of mine, and the references would probably be something like this:

"Yeah, we hired that bastard. Halfway through the job, he got lazy and instead of tearing off the rest of the old shingles, he shingled over half of them"

and

"we came home to find out new shingles in the dumpster and the roff painted, and this asshole tried to convince us he redid the roof"
