If Your Slow, What Not To Do

The worst thing you can do if you are slow, is sit back and wait for the phone to ring. Even if you are slow, or even out of work, I still get up in the morning and act as if I'm going to work. Get my coffee, sit in my car, and work out a plan. I was sitting in my car yesterday having my coffee, and a knock on my window. This lady asked me if I had time to look at some trim work to be compleated in her new kitchen. I said as soon as I get done with the little job I had to finish up. (SEE, I MADE MYSELF LOOK LIKE I WAS WORKING) I told her I would give her a call as soon as possible. Well 2 hours went by and I called her. Went to see the job, and got it on the spot. As you can see, if I stayed home, I would of never seen her.

So the 1st thing not to do is don't get up for work.
2nd thing not to have your coffee
3rd thing is not to act as if you were out of work

Re: If Your Slow, What Not To Do

I like to go on Organizing spree's. I organize my tool bags, paint supplies, around the shop. Im really slow this time of year until people start getting thier returns back. I've also just set up my website(www dot gebconstruction dot com). and I send out mailings with seasonal advice to get the juices flowing.
