Looks good! When it comes to production, jigs and routers make the world go round, I've even seen them cut windows out of those walls they frame and sheath in factory built homes!

P.S. if they needed more perfection on that little rounded corner, - - you could have drilled the corner with the proper size bit (1/4" maybe??), - - and then still used your corner chisel, - - but backwards . . .

I use the little PC plastic jig mentioned . It is easy to use, accommodates most configurations of strikes, and inexpensive. When working on jambs where I did not want to leave the two small nail holes that result from securing it with the brads, I have used it it size the cutout on a longer piece of material that I could hold in place with a couple of clamps(Exact configuration varies according to the style of trim)
