How To Post Pictures????

I have some nice pictures of an all brick wine cellar project I've been working on with a groin vault ceiling. And as hard as it was to frame the ceiling,I find it even harder to post pictures. Please walk me through this if anyone knows how. Thanks,Sausage Head

master mason, heres something you can try. if contractor.com wont let you upload pics yet, you can TRANSLOAD them. meaning come from another website rather than from your computer. So, upload all your pics to an image hosting website. photobucket.com is a great one, and it only takes a minuit to join. Once you upload your pictures there, come back to contractor.com and in your posting box, you can either click the "add an image button" which LOOKS LIKE a little picture of moutains and a sun.. i dont know, hold your mouse over all the buttons until the one pops up that says "insert image" and then type in the address of the pictures.. (photobucket will give you the address of each picture, it will be in the box that says "direct link")

or

click manage attachments just like you were going to upload the pictures. but instead of uploading a file from your computer, go to the box that sais upload from a url.... and put in the address

let me know how it works. im anticipating these groin vaulted pictures!

master mason, i just found out, you have to go through the attachments button, and do it that way. the little image button wont work until you have a certain number of posts. but it WILL work if you go through the attachment button.

Re: How To Post Pictures????

Open an account at Photobucket.com

Upload your pictures. If you have a bunch, use the "bulk uploader".

Once the pictures are loaded, copy the "img" link next to the picture you want to post here.

Paste the "img" link anywhere in the text box. Preferably one after the other.

You can add text between pictures easily.

If you wish to not show the pictures but have an executable link, copy the "direct link" and paste here.
This will allow you to post any number of pictures.

The third option is create a slideshow then copy the address and post it here.

Click on photo to see slideshow.
