Home & Business One Location?

I am wondering what we could do to advertise selling our home/ business or make it more appealing to anyone in a trade business, especially during this economy...
to me, I would think anyone wanting to start a business it would be good because of low interest rates, and anyone wanting to down-size because of a tough market.

So here's my question: what are people looking for who would want this type of property, what is ideal, what is necessary, what things would make it the most appealing, where would be the ideal place to advertise property like this?
please give me any thoughts or ideas you might have.
greatly appreciated,
Qmama

the owner of our company has operated that way for a while to minimize operating expenses. the lower level of his home is the office. now we don't operate in segment that would require any customer visits to our office. it works a great and the way the economy is affecting some contractors in our area, they are telling him how smart of a move it was.

Of course no reason to have a office, for a 2 man shop. The economy is barely keeping me working and paying my rent. I've had up to 7 guys last year, everybody is gone now. Just my kid and me.

Re: Home & Business One Location?

Right now i work out of my home but i am looking into purchasing some commercial property next to my other home to use for my business. I found 2 acres with a 3 bay two story garage 30'X 30' with a small office attached to the back and a 24'X48' storage building in the rear for $50k. The owner and i are working on a lease to own option at the moment. It is convenient to work out of home but i find the kids can be bothersome answering the phone when i am not around and it is too easy for the wife and kids to get into my paperwork "who knows why but they do it".
