Great New TV Shows

I just had to take a minute to point out how great these new DIY mishap shows on channels like HGTV are! I am watching one right now where a guy is trying to give his kitchen a facelift with the help of his mother. He spent half a day removing hardware with the wrong tools, stripped the paint and they wouldn't accept a stain, replaced the entire cabinets. The cabinets weren't anchored well and fell off the wall... The mom lost the countertop out the back of the pickup etc... etc... There was too much to mention here. I just like that these shows will let people know why they should leave things to pros if they don't know what they're doing. What do you guys think?

Re: Great New TV Shows

My favorite DIY mishap, It was on one of those house flipping shows, not sure if it was HTV or not. Anyhow, the guy flipping the hose was going to save some money on hiring a real electrician and have his father (or father in law, not sure which it was) do the electrical work. The first thing the guy did was cut live wires with a pair of wire cutters, both the neutral and the hot at the same time, poof, sparks flying, the guy now has a wire stripper, had me laughing for quite awhile (you probably had to see it). I think they ended up getting an electrician.
