I can't help ya with getting them out but..
I would invest in a little retractable welding screen. Not only to stop things like sparks from flying, but as a general saftey percaution. When I do structural exteriors I have to mig weld every panel togeather, and OSHA requires it, even after the welding when we are grinding. I could get fined up to $70,000.00 if I am caught without it. The price to get a small one for what you do, even if it is only twice a year..is well worth the time it will take to repair, or replace the door. Also, you won't have to worry about an accident happening involving a human.
