Would be used for layout of chair rail and concrete control joints at least once a week.

We would probably use this every day. When framing, there is always the need for everything to be as level/plumb/square as possible.

Re: GIVEAWAY: Pacific Laser Systems PLS 180 Cross Line Laser

If I win it, I'll be using it for layout of kitchens and installing cabinets and trim. PLS stuff is awesome, I look for it used now and then, and it seems like it holds a lot of value even after years of use.

Re: GIVEAWAY: Pacific Laser Systems PLS 180 Cross Line Laser

Use would be several times per week. I'm really getting tired of a plumb bob and too-short levels! The only other laser on-site (GC's) is an unusable broken Skill which is 1/4"+ off . Typical scenarios would be laying out framing, tile, doors, and cabinets.

It's just a Bi-fold airplane hangar door, but they wanted it to disappear when closed. That's a lot of door for a loading dock bay

Very neat, I worked in a hanger last year and it had regular roll up doors but the centre post hinged sideways to clear the path once both doors opened.

How often would you use a tool like this? What ways would you use it the most often?
I could see using that tool for layout and elevation checks probably on a weekly basis, some projects it would be a daily use.

Re: GIVEAWAY: Pacific Laser Systems PLS 180 Cross Line Laser

Thanks Cricket, CT and PLS.

My first laser was the early smaller version of this one. I really liked it a lot, it was a game changer for me. It was a great and tough little unit.

I really hated it when it grew legs and walked off though.

I'll be very happy to put it in my glass kit and put it to use.

Thanks again everyone. Review as soon as I put it to work.
