Getting A Waiver For Workers Comp Is Taking Forever..

I'm in Indiana and recently had to apply for a workers compensation waiver, I'm painting a restaurant. Government sucks, I first sent them a personal check that they sent back to me three days later saying they only take cash or money orders. I find that odd because the Indiana Department of Revenue didn't have a problem cashing a personal check when I paid them state taxes.

Here's the bitch, two weeks ago I sent them a money order for the waiver. I can't get my money from the job until I have this waiver in their files. Does it really take that long to send a workers comp waiver out? I think this is just a classic case of government workers who are slow, lazy and piss poor at what they do. Thanks a million for holding up five grand me and my family could sure use!!
