General Contractors Lic In Georgia
Hopefully someone can give me some solid advice, I have been working with a partner building homes for 4 or 5 years now along with running my own restaurant. I am trying to obtain my own GC Lic since my partner is the one who has pulled all of our permits so far I am not able to be grandfathered in. I am not really working with him anymore which is why I want my own Lic. I am filling out the application and I have to have an accountant "review" or "audit" my financials to show I have a net worth of $150,000.00 (which I do) but the accountant I use (or used) for the last 6 years is telling me he (for liability reasons) can not do reviews or audits. Others I have talked to want to charge me a ridiculous fee ($2,000.00) for this process. Does anyone have any advice how to get this done for a reasonable fee ($200.00) it is a quick one page form that must be done by an accountant.
Thanks in advance for your help, Scott |
