The Garbage Can Garbage Chute

Today I was driving and saw something odd. It was a string of garbage cans snaked togther. Someone cut out the bottoms of each one and used a heavy rope to string them together. They were using this as a garbage chute system, out a window, over a sidewalk scaffold, and right into a dumpster sitting on the street.
