Four Things I Learned This Week

1) Drink plenty of water, or your body will rebel. Not doing so may make you unsuitable for work most of the week.

2) If the fan belt breaks on a medium duty truck, you also have no brakes.

3) Even though school is out, if you drive past a school bus with it's flashing lights on, you still get a ticket.

4) The number of outside and attic service calls is directly proportional to the outside temperature.

Re: Four Things I Learned This Week

5) when you finally have enough of the right help and things start rolling, someone will get a hair up their ass and quit.

6) checks will always bounce in groups of 3. and one of the 3 will be big

7) it will always rain on the day that you scheduled the entire company to work on the parking lot lighting project

8) the phone will always ring off the hook the 4 days leading up to your vacation. the one you planned for the past 8 months. And all the calls will be for regular customers who need the work done the week you are away. And your best guy just quit (see #5)

Not sure which number it is, and the question might vary. But the answer is:
"No honey, those jeans look fine on you."

A comedy classic!!
However, I don't think this is what Marc was looking for!

I wasn't really looking for anything in particular. Just blogging, more than anything. I agree. Airplane! is a funny movie. I'm more of an action/shoot 'em up type of guy, however.

From your posts I have read, I am surprised you didn't know this one. You seem pretty well versed. As for the others, I don't think you just learned them, maybe with the heat you just needed them reinterated. One of Murphy's Laws of construction.

I guess there's a second circuit in the power steering pump that provides the hydraulic pressure for the brakes. Aparently, to my surprise, most medium duty trucks are this way (save for the one's with air brakes). Seems dumb, to me.
