Re: Florida HVAC & Plumbing Work Slow?

I've met a lot of folks in different trades bailing out of Florida, coming here to NC. Not that everyone should.

I've met quite a few that said the new housing market there dried up overnight. Building was booming, then prices got inflated, and the market just crashed. A couple guys I know here are still paying for houses there that they can't give away.

Re: Florida HVAC & Plumbing Work Slow?

We've had several people move into our area from Florida over the last few months.
My sister lives in the Ft. Myers area and she says everything there has just dried up.
We done a service about a month ago for a guy from that area and he said that people were just leaving the keys in the houses and packing up and leaving. About five years ago their county was number one in the nation in the issuance of building permits.
