I'm still looking for companion for my dog Sara. Please check for my response by email within a day or two of sending me an email. It might be in bulk mail.

Dog companion duties include taking Sara for walks/hikes/runs, attending training classes (Thursday nights in Kilauea), working on her training excises, washing her and picking up poop in yard and on walks. Occasional medication administration when needed.

Must be responsible and extremely reliable. I would prefer someone who can run with her for at least 1/2 mile (perferably more) and hike at a brisk pace. However, this seems to be harder to find than I had anticipated. If you can hike for an hour, that would work as well.
Must agree to and pass a background check and have a good driving record. Must have a car to take her to trail heads, beaches, vet appointments and training classes, etc.

This is a part-time job. Hours are mostly on the weekends mid-day, some weekdays, some evenings and mornings (7 a.m.), and on-call for nights on occassion (so I need someone who lives close by). Occasional overnight pet sitting (dog and cat) needed. Dog companion duties are paid on hourly rate. Pet sitting is paid on a nightly rate. Paid approximately every two weeks. Total monthly pay in 2008 was as follows: Dec $270, Nov $277, Oct $327, Aug $130, July $90, June $284 (average is $230 per month). Hours are dependent on my schedule which is usually heavier in the winter.

Sara prefers non-smokers; she does not like cigarette smoke or the smell on hands and clothes.
