He had enough sense to set his outriggers, but was probably chatting on his cell phone when he extended the boom. OOPS

Also Froze in the situation.

Coulda' just "dropped" the load and solved the problem.

I have saved my forklift and its load on MORE THAN ONE occasion by dropping the load as the ass was coming up from under me!

Reflexes under fire..


And outriggers do not do much good on plane. Only laterally! At least they kept the rig from torquing!
