Exotic Woods

im pretty new on here and learn something everytime i log on. anyway im looking for some wood that in some cases might go overlooked by developers and just drug to a pile and burnt or trashed.

the wood im looking for is grapevine trunks 3"+ dia x 3-4' tall.
i know these grow wild in the midwest not to mention old private vinyards.
and a tree called dragonwood. i can only trace this to florida. its also said to be wild there.
these are the only non-toxic native woods said to be safe for my 2 quaker parrots.

any help in locating some of these would really make poncho and eminem happy. they would have a playgym in the livingroom.

thanks...charlie

Re: Exotic Woods

Sorry Charlie.....the only exotic wood I'm familiar with would turn your parrots into feathered donuts.

Plus....I try to steer clear of beaks and claws.
