Energy Tax Credit For Insulation?

Does anyone know if the tax credit for adding fiberglass insulation has been increased to 30%?

That's what I am "hearing" also, but have yet to see proof that it's anything different than it was in 2007. Infact when I contacted energy star their information provided said materials only up to $500 and this was a month or two ago. I hear market sharp has a seminar about this topic though, I just haven't signed up yet.

Check out the link from RSB.

It's 30% for insulation max $1500, good for 2009 & 2010.

I asked my CPA how to make the invoice regarding breakdown of labor & materials. He said not to worry about it and just invoice for the total.

Correct

no break down for labor or materials.

If you do multiple trades or task you will have to break the amounts down by area

insulation 800 bucks
roofing 3K

etc
