Re: Edmonton Rates

wow...jump on in and start with a "how much" question.

I'll just cut to the chase.

Figure it out yourself...quit looking for the EASY way to an answer.

My "going rate" (yeah right - no such animal)...is "X".
That is what is costs to have ME do the job.
Your rate is "Y".
Probably less than me.
Go out and sell yourself.

But if you are a slick talking, dime-a-dozen, bottom feeding weasel, hack... leave.

(and I have no idea weather you are or not...I just strongly dislike people who's first post is all about "how much can I charge" crap or "what's the going rate" - you don't really understand contracting - if you are chasing the BOTTOM dollar - that's all you'll maybe ever get. So maybe I don't KNOW you...but everyone who starts their threads with HOW MUCH...pretty much creates the same result in me)

Do your homework (that means determine what YOU are worth...not what the lowest man will pay you) and SELL YOURSELF at your worth.

There really are Cadillac customers out there.

I FIGURED YOU COULDN'T TAKE TUFF LUV.

Oh well, drive out to where ever and bid whatever...good luck. Some day you'll figure this all out. As long as you work for what others beat you down to...you keep yourself down. I figured you'd react this way...many in the trades are weak minded and have their emotional panties in a twist.

Look at yourself.
Determine your worth.
Sell it.

Otherwise you will be working for less than you are worth...that never works out well.

I've wasted enough of my time and evidently yours as well. I'm done with you.

Re: Edmonton Rates

Magnettica, you missed 'continuing education'. The section on "How to Price Jobs".

dts1, if you haven't figured out by now why you are not getting the answers you want, there's no hope for you.

Ok, I'll help. I am going to charge $26,515.00 for a job that you are also looking at. What's your price going to be?

The quickest road to failure is paved by using other people's rates.

There outa be a law, but we have so much fun with this stuff.
