Re: Do You Warn About Hardi Installed?

As mentioned in another thread we just had an asbestos test done on a commercial building we are renovating. I was shocked at what they wanted to test: Floor tile, sheetrock, spackle, 2x4 ceiling tile, ductwork insulation, glue on the 1x1 ceiling tile, roofing, and plaster. If they all come back hot, demo will be about $250K. The "VCT" alone will be $32K. If it all comes back negative total demo will be $32K.

Boy am I glad HASMATs were exempt in my demo numbers.

Most of my injuries are sports related from my youth. I was semi-pro and an olympian candidate before I realized walking was more important. I have always taken good care of myself. I just never had to do "extra". Well, I'm at that point. If I don't take my daily "cocktail" of supplements, the body starts to complain. It's not that I've been careless with construction, it's that I beat the crap out of myself years ago. Now I have to do extra just to get along without issues!
I've got you by 3.
1K!
....more to come.
