Do It All Day And Read About It At Night

I was just going through the new posts and I got to thinking. Why do we work all day at our job and then get home start up the computer and read about work. Don't you guys me included think about anything else?

I also think about gardening and riding my bike. But it's a bit cold out yet.

In reality forums like this one keep me excited about this business. An answer or opinion about nearly any obstacle I see is right here or coming down the pipe.

Good Luck
Dave

Most of us know, that when you work for yourself, you work all day and all night. Alot of people think that when you own a business that its all peaches and cream. I'm just greatfull to fourms like this one, and all the cool people for a slight change of pace. Misery loves company. hey I found the name for my next company. Misery Inc.

Re: Do It All Day And Read About It At Night

I am always here(daily) to keep tweaking my business and increase knowledge from tricks of the trades to being more efficient. I am just a one man show and I recently moved 5 states away, not knowing anyone. I picked up a job to make sure my mortgage would be paid, saved enough for one extra month and went back on my own. I truly feel that this site IS the reason I have been able to make it in these conditions and current economy. I have been swamped M-F for three months straight while others are hungry. This site has given me confidence and the KNOWLEDGE to make it happen. Thanks to all who participate!

This forum is great. I found it about a month ago, and I've been here everyday since. Nothing beats the global perspective this site and its members and moderators offer.

back to the OP's query...if you want to swim in this business, you have to make it your hobby too. My other love (aside from my wifey!) is aircooled volkswagens...the old ones (pre-67). Summer is coming!
