Re: Cutting & Polishing Granite

The biggest manufacturers of granite polishing pads and edge profilers is Alpha and 3M (mostly for pads). There are tons of others like Diarex.

If you want quality, you won't go wrong with either of those. Do a search for them on the Internet and you will find all kinds of information and retailers selling them.

Gran Quartz is one of the more well known dealers who specialize in these products you are interested in.

What would be the advantages of purchasing your own equipment?

I am guessing it is fairly expensive.

Re: Cutting & Polishing Granite

To clarify ,

I am only purchasing equipment to bullnose & polish the edge. I can purchase slabs fairly cheap, So why not add them to my list? Cutting Slabs can be done with a skill saw and granite turbo blade.

Rich, hows the quality on the defuscos blades and polishing pads?
