Re: Customer Threatens You With Gun

I think "Don't make me get my gun" is threatening. I mean what else does it mean? That he'll show you how nice his gun is? No, he wants to get it to shot you lol

Re: Customer Threatens You With Gun

I appreciate the advice. I did do a written statement from the first day I was there to measure til the last time we spoke on the phone. I do believe this has won our case.

The Judge is supposed to send us a ruling in the mail. The customer got irate and the bailiff had to tell him to calm down 4x's.
He told his side first. This is what was
Customer: "This guy cut holes all in my house and now my roof leaks" (he is talking about cutting the overhang to put the beams for the roof on)
Judge says "So your house is leaking right now?"
Customer: "Well, no not right now it isn't but it will" lol Judge: Have you had it repaired?
Customer:Yes
Judge: how much did it cost you to repair it?
Customer: Well my nephew and some guys did it for $600.00
Judge: So it costed $600.00 to repair it
Customer: Oh no, it's not repaired right now.
Judge: So how much would it cost to repair it?
Customer: $1200.00
Judge: If it only cost $1200.00 to fix it, why are you suing for $2500.00? Customer: Oh, because I have to buy the materials too.

When asked our side, we had a written statement of everything that happened from the 1st day to the last, with him threatening (text messages printed out) all the stuff he complained about with explanations and pictures to prove everything was right, All materials, labor, and how much he paid and owed with pie chart included. and the contract. He read over everything and said "this has got to be the most documented deck I've ever seen."

It isn't adding up, who has to wait to see what the ruling is? More to this story for sure.

It's KY, maybe the judge travels from town to town.

Get into a verbal altercation with a bank teller at the bank and tell them:

"Don't make me go get my gun"

See what happens after that.

Get into an Altercation with a bank teller that starts beating a family member and it would be justified. See how hypotheticals can work for any argument?

If one party s highly irate in court, it makes sense for the judge to send his/her ruling by mail.

Not to me. Could be different there. I thought that's why they hired bailiffs. They don't check for guns?

Since when does a judge send a ruling in the mail?

Apples and oranges. There was no beating happening, just verbal threat.

Say those exact words to:
Cop
Fireman
School teacher
Store clerk
IRS agent
Contractor
Fast food worker

Is a judge going to say it's ok to say that to one person, but not another?

When did this happen?

In NJ it would be a month before you get a court date, but right before the judge smacks his gavel you would have your answer.

Oh Fvkk.

Weirdest story I've ever heard.

I'm more sure than ever now that Kentucky is a foreign country.

DaVinci, is that you? Are you back?

Small claims court will mail the decision here also.. I went to court over 20 years ago and we had to wait for the judge to mail his decision.

You gave a hypothetical about a bank teller, I gave you one back to show you how there's no limits when you get to use a hypothetical.
