Sorry my accountant informed me yesterday that I am over paying my subs. Travel is out of your pocket.....

BTW when you start this job, good luck on rerouting the plumbing through the slab foundation the way the HO wants it. Thats why the 6 weeks for remodel.

My plumber says he's going to need 2 weeks to reroute everything. Tub is being moved 3 ft, shower is going to get 3 additional lines for jets, removing 1 sink completely, replacing with double vanity which is being relocated, and toilet get moved 2 foot left. Plus, thats an azz of tile work.

We do a lot of older bathrooms with permits, shower glass, stone slab fabrication etc runs about 6 weeks.

I was thinking the same thing...permits can really slow a job down.

Managing customer expectation can make a big difference in these situations.

There's valid points about it taking up to six weeks but the OP doesn't list the scope of work and from the sound of his post, it doesn't exactly sound like they were a day or two away from finishing...
