Customer Says Its Taking To Long

Hello everyone, I really need some advice, I help my father run his remodeling company. He has been working on a bathroom remodel for the past 6 weeks. The home owner is a disabled single miserable lady who is never satisfied...They must of went to home depot 5 times over the vanity alone...Well she just called my father and told him to NOT come back..why??? well she sais its taking to long...now what??? The state is paying for this remodel, since she got disabled from a car accident so she needed a bathroom that was more accessible for herself...We have since put arround 3000 of our money for materials and so on...Can she really do this??

6 Weeks - what laying mosaic tiles 1 at a time???
Assuming this is a "State" job, there has to be some sort of contract or job description
What state & what does all the paperwork state?

It's Friday night...I'm beat-down tired...I don't even want to get started with this....however.

For your first post, Professionally Done Right , LLC, you are asking for moral support for a project that has turned sideways on you.

Then you say...can she do this? Uh, I don't know...what did your contract state the terms of the project to be? How was the project to be funded? Were you guys going to "front" everything and then collect 100% at the end?

This is a strange post....

What you seek can not be found here, padawan.

If you want to be a member of the forum, other than to drop in and ask a question, you might want to re-think the user name too.

go back to the house, kick the old hag in the knee cap and demand your check.

Wow I think the lady mite be right ? 6 weeks is a long time for a bath room . Two guys could bang out a regular bath room in 2 weeks easy . Most of the time we do 2 baths in 21/2 weeks. Seems like your plan went real bad. I would try to reason with her . If i have a problem customer I just smother them with service and happy thoughts. John

I personally don't recommend doing that.

6 weeks doesn't sound all tht bad. Below is a full gut and remodel I have in the planning stages. Scheduled to take no less than 6 weeks.

You know six weeks isn't bad considering this is a state job.

Geez, I'm doing one of the bathrooms in my place next month and I've blocked off 5 days to do it.

6 weeks is insanity.
