Me thinks you're spending too much time on CL,it is just a supplemental type of advertising. If I had to depend on CL ,I would be in deep do-do!But occasionally I do find some good connections, but that is the exception and not the rule.Expand your horizons,it will only get worse with CL until the economy worm turns!

reminds me of the craigslist ad to install 3 square of shingle for 200 bucks in south plainfield. i would have to get the locks fixed on my truck or the window glass fixed and restock everything that would be stolen after working there.

Craigslist is an absolute JOKE! Right now the area I am in there is a all out war going on between the unlicensed "contractors" and the licensed ones. Post get deleted one after the other. They even have posts bashing the other and not even offering a service. The licensed contractors delete the unlicensed. The unlicensed deleted the licensed posts. It's a joke.

Here's just one example:
"The lic contractors have got together and are flagging all the unlicensed contractors. To make it stop, all the unlicensed contractors must do the same. Everyone well lose until we all stop."
http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/sks/984372415.html

This stuff goes on all day here. Craigslist is a complete waste of time. I think I'd have better luck writing an ad on a piece of paper then folding up into a paper airplane and throwing it out the window.

And this goes on, probably in every major metro area of the PRK, right under the noses of the Ca State Licensing Board and they don't do a fu#*ing thing about it!
An unlicensed contractor out here is becoming the norm. It won't be long until they start busting us licensed guys for being dumb-assed enough to waste the money on the licensing fees.
