and I am spent...
Man what a BEAUTIFUL machine. That is just breathtaking. If I was out in space I would give it a big spacesuit hug. I always wanted to be on the shuttle. It is so sad that we cannot come up with a new orbiter that we can either glide or fly back to the ground. So sad we have to go back to the capsule. That bird is just so damn awe inspiring. Thanks for the pics man. I want to get down for the last launch. I will sell blood and *** to get down there to see it if I cannot afford to. |

I was drivng to do an estimate today and heard the two sonic booms from when the shuttle re-enters the atmosphere. So I pull over grab my camera and snapped these two shots.
