I fessed up to the gc and he has yet to tell me how he wants to handle it. Hoping to repair, not replace. 4' top with molded sink. The tile man said you can repair this with clear fingernail polish. He will do it if we don't fell comfortable with it. The biggest chip is less than 3/16" square and the others are way smaller than that. None of the chips are deep at all, almost surface scratches. This repair sounds good to me, but I will have to do whatever the gc wants of course. Any other options out there? Thanks

That stuff is made from marble dust mixed with a liquid polyester resin, if you put clear polish it will fill the void and harden. Hard to say what it looks like and how noticeable it is, but you can always try that method. There are some companies around that can buff these countertops with special gel compounds to get scratches and small chips out. The bigger cracks and chips is impossible to repair, because you cannot re-coat the whole top.
Good luck I hope it works out for you.
